10 February PPVs You Should Watch On WWE Network

8. WCW SuperBrawl III (Feb 21, 1993)

Best Matches: Vader vs. Sting (White Castle of Fear Strap Match), Cactus Jack vs. Paul Orndorff (Falls Count Anywhere), Too Cold Scorpio vs. Chris Benoit Vader and Sting had so many great matches during their rivalry, but their strap match at SuperBrawl III may have been the best of them all. The entire "White Castle of Fear" thing was cheesy and led to a lot of bad vignettes. However, when they wrestled the chemistry was there. Vader's WCW World Title wasn't on the line because they said it was an unsanctioned, but Vader still got the win. It's such a cool match with Sting putting Vader on his shoulders and walking around with him while touching the corners. Vader ended up winning thanks to a ref bump that helped him out. There were a few other good matches on the show including a couple of interesting tags with the Hollywood Blondes (Austin and Pillman) reminding us again how awesome they were. There was also the big win by Cactus Jack over Paul Orndorff as we really started to see how good Mick Foley was and the Scorpio win over Benoit was a nice showcase of two athletic guys in a fast paced match. The other interesting tidbit about this show is that Ric Flair made his WCW return after being in WWE for more than a year. He didn't wrestle, but the crowd was chanting for him all night long as he started an angle with Barry Windham. It's a solid show that becomes great thanks to Vader's main event win over Sting.
