10 February PPVs You Should Watch On WWE Network

3. WWE Elimination Chamber (Feb 20, 2011)

Best Matches: Edge won Elimination Chamber to retain World Title, John Cena won Elimination Chamber to become #1 contender to WWE Title, The Miz vs. Jerry Lawler Edge's World Title defense in the Chamber opened the show. It was the match of the night and is one of the best EC matches ever. Edge started the match with Rey Mysterio as the two top faces in the match and they carried it the whole way. Big Show pinned Wade Barrett, then Kane pinned Big Show and Drew McIntyre in dominant fashion. It looked like Kane was going to dominate, but Rey and Edge worked together to get rid of him. Then the last ten minutes were Edge vs. Rey, so they did a lot of cool fast paced stuff. Edge got the win to retain. It's sad that he had to retire a little over a month after this because he was performing at such a high level. John Cena won the other EC match in the main event slot. It was a #1 contender's match where it was obvious he was going to win because hey it's John Cena, that's what he always does. You might remember this EC match for the crazy spot John Morrison did when he climbed to the top of the cage and then jumped onto Sheamus. Nobody had ever done that before, so it was pretty awesome. http://youtu.be/zKyQLo3X4rM The Miz defended the WWE Title against Jerry Lawler in the midcard. It was a weird time in WWE because they really didn't have a lot of great midcard babyface wrestlers, so Lawler challenged Miz and Miz got the win. It was a solid match considering Lawler€™s 61 years old, but looking back they really should have had somebody in their prime as the top contender. Thanks to two really good EC matches, it's a show worth checking out again.
