10 Feuds That Must Happen Before WWE WrestleMania 33

3. Seth Rollins Vs. Rusev

Seth Rollins’ long-term future likely lies in a match with Triple H. While The Game has been scarce since costing Seth the Universal Championship, his spectre lurks over Rollins’ every move. It feels like every time Seth wrestles, fans are just waiting for Triple H to show-up and make his next move, though it’s likely that WWE won’t have them officially wrestle until ‘Mania.

Rollins is still finding his feet as a babyface, however, and he’s going to need some quality heels to work against until then. Fortunately, Raw’s roster is very heel-heavy at the moment, and while few will want to see Raw’s number one Draft pick removed from the Universal scene, for now, he’d benefit greatly from a feud with Rusev.

He’ll likely lose to Roman Reigns this weekend, but Rusev is one of the company’s most effective villains. While the likes of Kevin Owens are met with as many cheers as jeers, Rusev’s anti-American rhetoric makes him an easy target for the boo boys. He’s objectively great at playing his role, and he’s exactly the kind of guy that a non-title chasing Rollins should be working with.

Rusev will be coming off an incredibly heated feud with Reigns, and the crowd barely need another reason to cheer Seth. Let the two battle each other, and remove the threat of an imminent Triple H interference from the Universal Title division.
