Bryan and Sheamus have plenty of previous history to rekindle a feud, especially in the short match they had at WrestleMania 28 that saw Sheamus win the World title in 18 seconds. A heel turn for Sheamus is almost a necessity to get him back in the main event scene at this point, and feuding with the company's most popular star would be a great way to solidify him as a bad guy. Outside of the match at WrestleMania, Sheamus and Bryan have performed very well against each other in the ring. Their 2-out-of-3 falls match at Extreme Rules 2012 was an excellent example of their skills. It showed that Sheamus had technical ability and that Bryan could brawl with the best of them. Having the roles reversed with Sheamus as the heel and Bryan as the babyface would keep things fresh and it would give Bryan a chance to get some redemption after the 18 seconds that ended his first World title reign.
