Much like Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are the two most legitimately tough members of WWE's women's division, Gable Steveson and Brock Lesnar are the two toughest men in the company. Both Gable and Brock are NCAA Heavyweight Wrestling Champions, with both men parlaying their success into an Olympic Gold Medal and a UFC Heavyweight Championship, respectively.

When Brock Lesnar returned to professional wrestling in 2012, there was not, and has not, been a member of the WWE roster with the credibility to match that of The Beast. Despite the toughness of wrestlers such as Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns, there is a level of realness behind Lesnar that has been missing since Kurt Angle's heyday back in the early 2000's. With Steveson now in the fold, there is another member of the roster whose amateur accomplishments stand toe to toe with The Beast Incarnate.

With Gable Steveson being drafted to Monday Night Raw last year and making his debut at WrestleMania 38, it should only be a matter of time before his in-ring career begins for WWE. When that time does come, and after a short while to establish his credibility with the fans, one of his first major opponents should be Brock Lesnar in a match fans should be clamoring for.
