10 Flops WWE Should Never Have Tried Again

6. Punjabi Prison

There have been three 'Punjabi Prison' matches in WWE history, and only one of them was worked by the guy the match was named for. Much like other failures on this list like Bragging Rights and the blindfolded gimmick, WWE must be considered sadists for trying to fix the unfixable.

That bamboo cage was a flawed notion from the start.

The Great Khali didn't even wrestle in the first one. He was replaced by Big Show at 2006's Great American Bash due to enzyme issues in his liver. Rather than taking the hint, WWE plodded on with a match that now made no sense and failed to adequately explain how the convoluted multi-cage nonsense was supposed to work.

Later matches like Batista vs. Khali and Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton suffered from the same problem. The confusing timed trap door nonsense was pure WCW levels of bad, and it didn't help that fans in attendance could barely see what was happening.
