2. British Bulldog vs. Owen Hart (RAW - March 1997)
In 1997, WWF decided to introduce a European Championship belt and held a tournament in Berlin, Germany to crown the new champ. The finals came down to the tag team partners and brothers in law, British Bulldog and Owen Hart as they battled to win the new title. This match took place on RAW and in the end The Bulldog would get the win to become the WWF European Champion to the delight of the fans in Berlin. Matches like this are why I'd love to see a British Bulldog DVD set someday, because when Davey Boy was on, he could really go with the best of them and put on some great matches. The European title kind of faded away so it's lineage isn't talked about too much, but this match can be found on the March 3rd, 1997 RAW and it's worth fifteen minutes of your time to see two stars who are no longer here to talk about their matches show just what they could do in the ring.
