WWE, from time to time, enjoy messing around with the past to suit their narrative. Sometimes, this makes sense. Imagine how bogus some of The Undertaker's matches at WrestleMania might have been over the years had they not been backed by the thrill of seeing someone break his unbeaten streak, for example.

The thing is, 'Taker didn't win all of his 'Mania bouts before being crushed by Brock Lesnar in 2014.

Confused? Cast a glance back to WrestleMania IX when The Undertaker must have wished he was a dead man instead of having to haul lumbering ex-basketball player Giant González to a decent match. It was a thankless task, one made even more difficult by the fact WWF officials didn't fancy seeing the giant lose his first pay-per-view match.

So, they booked González to snuff 'Taker out with some handy chloroform and the referee waved off the match. Note the important bit there. He didn't visibly DQ the big man for using an illegal substance, at least not on the night. WWE just altered the result afterwards and added it to win streak.
