10 Forgotten Storylines For WWE Hall Of Famers
1. Fake Diesel And Razor - Jim Ross
If this entry were concerning Kane, then you'd have every right to be mad.
Most wrestling fans know that Glenn Jacobs portrayed the fake Diesel after Kevin Nash and Scott Hall left for WCW in 1996. In fact, this was his final gimmick before donning the mask that would make him famous.
However, there is an oft overlooked part of this story, and we don't mean Rick Bognar.
After returning to television after being fired (which happened a lot throughout his career), Good Ol' JR Jim Ross claimed that he was still in touch with Diesel and Razor Ramon and would be bringing them back to television.
This is what led to the unveiling of fake Diesel and fake Razor; it was all part of a Jim Ross heel turn after he claimed to be the one responsible for the pair leaving as revenge for being fired.
The whole storyline was weird and Ross' involvement made it even stranger. Why did a commentator need to be dragged into this mess? The whole thing was badly received and Ross went back to being a good guy not long after.
Good God Almighty indeed.
