10 Forgotten Storylines For WWE Hall Of Famers
2. The Magical Ring - Hulk Hogan
Ah, Hulk Hogan's TNA run.
What some people thought would be the boost the company needed to stick it to WWE actually almost killed them dead when Hogan and Eric Bischoff almost ran TNA into the ground.
However, it did give us this surreal moment from an episode of Impact! in 2010.
Abyss had lost his way a little bit, becoming a quivering, frightened shell of his former self. This didn't sit well with the Hulkster, who took it upon himself to return The Monster to his former glory.
After a rousing pep talk, Hogan gifted Abyss his WWE Hall of Fame ring, much to his shock and awe. In an absolutely bizarre speech, Hogan said that the ring would give Abyss "the power of the universe" and would allow him to become "the God of men".
This was all obviously meant to be metaphorical, but it really did come across like Hogan's ring had magical powers.
Ew, the phrase "Hogan's ring" is not very pleasant.
It's a decent scene, with both men giving it their all, but it's just too silly.
Also, the sight of Abyss cowering in fear will never not be odd.
