10 Forgotten Storylines For WWE Hall Of Famers
5. Treat Me Like A World Champion - Chyna
After years of fans demanding it, Chyna finally entered the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.
Granted it was as a member of DX and not on her own, but look, we'll take the victories where we can get them.
The Ninth Wonder of the World has had her legacy mostly buried by WWE, under the nonsense pretence that her adult film career would be bad for the company's image.
Tell that to X-Pac, who was in the same video as Chyna.
As a result, it's easy to forget that, at one point, there were plans to make her the WWE Champion.
On the 9th August 1999 episode of Raw, Chyna bested both Triple H and The Undertaker in a number one contendership match for Steve Austin's WWE title. However, the build to SummerSlam 1999 was a complete mess, so that honour bounced around like a pinball.
Chyna did not end up facing the Rattlesnake, but there was a time where her competing for the top prize was a real possibility.
How this would have changed the wrestling landscape will never be known, but it is yet another amazing achievement in the career of one of wrestling's most complex individuals.
