10 Forgotten WCW Wrestlers You Totally Don't Remember

7. Chip Minton

Fun fact: You're looking at a two-time Winter Olympian there. Chip Minton was part of the US bobsleigh team in 1994 and 1998, but he was also a WCW star in between training for the games. Chip worked his first matches for the company in '96, then took some time off the following year before returning in '98.

That's when he made it to weeklies like Thunder. Also, whilst Minton would never wrestle on flagship show Nitro, he did work on pay-per-view by playing his part in the bumper 60-man battle royal at World War 3 that same year. If only Chip could've won - he might have gone on to become WCW World Champ.

Look, even David Arquette won that belt, so nothing was impossible in Atlanta.

Minton was another trainee coming out of the Power Plant who struggled to reach his full potential. Being honest, his name sucked, and he was sacrificed to pet project Wrath near the end of his WCW run. Back to sledding for Chip then, eh?
