10 Forgotten WCW Wrestlers You Totally Don't Remember

6. J.W Storm

Promising prospect J.W Storm was in the oft-forgotten Maximum Overdrive team that put The Steiner Brothers over at Clash Of The Champions XII in 1990. After that, WCW decided to split the duo and attack a singles push for J.W. By "attack", yours truly means they turned him into a Steven Seagal from Hard To Kill clone.

WCW business immediately went through the roof.

Not really, obviously. Storm going Seagal wasn't as daft as it seems now though. Hard To Kill was a box office smash around that same time, so J.W rocking the same look made sense and gave him some instant marketability. Unfortunately, it didn't pay dividends, and Storm was let go less than one full year into his singles run.

He'd go on to become an occasional enhancement worker for the WWF until 1992. Someone should've given J.W a call for the dreaded Brawl For All too, because he had an impressive 22-2 record as a boxer. For anyone interested, all of his wins came by knockout.
