10 Forgotten WWE Main Events Everyone Needs To See

2. Six-Man Tag (King Of The Ring 2000)

If the WWF put on a definitively bad pay-per-view main event in 2000, this writer hasn't seen it. The company was in a groove that year, and they could seemingly do no wrong. That's probably why this six-man tag is so neglected by fans. It's buried beneath heaps of good matches, and everyone who tuned in was spoiled monthly, if not weekly.

Triple H, Shane & Vince McMahon vs. The Rock, The Undertaker & Kane sums up everything that was chaotic and right about this testosterone-fuelled era though. It had big stars, some token McMahon shenanigans and the added stipulation that either Vince or Shane could theoretically lose Triple H's WWF Title if they were pinned or submitted.

One could almost smell the intrigue.

Technically, this was no wonder, but it never needed to be. Although most will point to The Rock vs. Triple H at Backlash and Judgment Day, or Triple H vs. Cactus Jack at both Royal Rumble and No Way Out, as the top main events that year, this also warrant's 20 minutes of your time.
