We know, we know. Survivor Series 1997, the 'Montreal Screwjob' and all the chaos that ensued five years later remains memorable. That's precisely why this forgotten gem that went down five years earlier on a mediocre show in Ohio has a place on this list. Back then, conspiracies and hatred didn't exist.

Nope, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels were buddies behind the scenes, and they were keen to make a united statement for the future.

It's amazing to look back on their Survivors '92 match now knowing what happened and see the genesis of a new emerging ring style at the top of WWF cards. Even Vince McMahon on commentary marvelled at what these young lions, desperate to prove that the days of Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior were passé, achieved together.

Is it as much of a heartbreaking thump as 1997? No, but it's one of the best WWE pay-per-view main events of the early 90s, and it deserves 10x the love it gets from fans of both workers. Add this to your watch list right now.
