10 Forgotten WWE Main Events Everyone Needs To See

9. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels (IYH: Ground Zero 1997)

A little under one month after this match, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels rocked the WWF's world by working the first ever Hell In A Cell corker at Badd Blood. That had blood, drama by the cartload and Kane's debut, and so it's infinitely more memorable than their headliner at Ground Zero.

That's a shame.

There's much to enjoy if you choose to revisit this one. 'Taker and Michaels always had oodles of chemistry together, and they were buoyed by Shawn's reborn heelish edge as the chief of D-Generation X. Intensity was the order of the day in Louisville here, and the show-closing brawl is a sight to behold even almost 22 years on.

Again, chemistry was at a fever pitch, and fans more than played their part. The WWF's product was heating up again after years of relative malaise; just listen to them explode as a p*ssed off 'Taker flies out the starting blocks and sends HBK running for the hills.
