10 Forgotten WWE Wrestlers Who Were Supposed To Be Stars
10. Bobby Lashley
Taking up the bottom spot is Bobby Lashley. Truth be told, he's a bit of an odd inclusion in that one could argue that he did achieve stardom, as he not only claimed the Total Nonstop Action World Heavyweight Championship title, but has also seemingly done fairly well for himself in the world of mixed martial arts, sporting a record of 11-2 and holding championships in two organizations simultaneously. But as far as WWE goes... well, he just didn't make it all that far, despite his four-year tenure there. It's easy enough to see that there were big plans in store for Lashley, as he not only won WWE's version of the Extreme Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship twice (before they went platinum with it and it became a third-tier title, no less), but was also involved in an angle at WrestleMania with none other than Vince McMahon, to say nothing of the man he was representing, Donald Trump. Following that, he was in the WWE Championship picture for a time before taking time off due to an injury. While recovering, he was released from the company (supposedly amicably, though some suggest otherwise), and would go on to headline in TNA as noted above.
