Yes, the person in that picture is the man formerly known as Bubba Ray Dudley. Ray has completely reinvented himself a hard-nosed, ultra-heel by getting himself into the best shape of his career and adopting a new, serious wrestling and promo style. Ray is one of TNA's few success stories of recent years but most of the credit has to go to the man himself. He has done everything he can to make himself a player. TNA had no choice but to push him to the top after his superb performances on the microphone and in the ring. Most assumed that Ray would be a midcarder for life but he has proved those people wrong. He left TNA earlier this year and is currently a free agent. WWE could do a lot worse than hiring Ray and giving him a main event push. He would be a great asset to the company and many of WWE's younger stars could benefit from his wisdom and experience. A Dudley Boys is also a possibility and would no doubt go down a treat with nostalgic fans. But there are a number of reasons why WWE wouldn't sign Bully. This past August, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE had little-to-no interest in signing him. At 43, Bully is hardly young and WWE is focusing on pushing younger wrestlers like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Also, he upped his stock away from WWE and would be seen as a TNA wrestler, despite having a history in the WWE. No, it doesn't look like WWE will be signing Bully Ray (or Kurt Angle, Matt Morgan or AJ Styles) any time soon. It seems that, when it comes to talented ex-TNA wrestlers, WWE would rather cut their nose off to spite their own face.
