10 Former Midcarders Who Could Return To WWE As Main Eventers In 2015

10. MVP

What happened to MVP in the WWE? Everything started off so well and he was pushed hard as the hottest free agent in professional wrestling on the Smackdown brand in late 2006. MVP quickly went from squashing jobbers to wrestling Kane and mentor Chris Benoit on pay-per-view. His look was unique, he was a quick learner and a student of the game but, most importantly, he was dynamite on the microphone. He was so good on the stick that WWE soon gave him his own interview segment 'The VIP Lounge'. Many predicted big things for MVP in WWE and for a while it looked like the main event was in touching distance but, sadly, despite a few flirtations with it here and there he never got past the midcard level. MVP left the WWE in 2011 so he could pursue his dream of wrestling for New Japan Pro Wrestling and charismatic baller had a decent two year run in the organisation and arguably improved as an all-round performer. Currently languishing in the uncertain-of-their-future TNA, MVP could (at the age of 41) have another WWE run in him.
