Not only was Mistico the biggest star in all of lucha libre, but as Triple H's first major talent acquisition, it was all but guaranteed he would be a hit in WWE. However, problems between the newly-renamed Sin Cara and WWE emerged immediately, as he failed a drug test and allegedly refused to learn to speak English. Like other superstars on this list, he suffered a string of injuries that kept him sidelined for months at a time. The final straw came when, during a live Raw match, Sin Cara dislocated a finger and demanded the match be stopped.

WWE allowed Sin Cara's contract to expire, and he returned to Mexico, taking the name Myzteziz. While he hasn't reached the levels of popularity he enjoyed prior to his WWE run, Myzteziz is still a top star in Mexico's most popular promotion, Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (Triple A) -- undoubtedly he's happier there, and WWE would rather save face and not take any chances by hiring him again.
