10 Former WWE Superstars Who Will Never Return

5. Jeff Jarrett

Due to a clerical oversight, Jeff Jarrett's WWE contract actually expired the day before his much-hyped match with Chyna at No Mercy 1999, where he was scheduled to drop the Intercontinental Title to Chyna. In exchange for working the show and doing the honors, Jarrett demanded back Pay-Per-View bonus money he was owed on the spot, rather than waiting months for it, as is usually the case. Though Jarrett maintains that he didn't ask for anything more than he was owed, the move clearly left a bad taste in Vince McMahon's mouth, as the two sides haven't worked together since. McMahon even took a shot at Jarrett on the final episode of Monday Nitro, indicating that in the new McMahon-led WCW, Jarrett would be out of work.

Unfortunately, this bad blood led to an even larger headache for McMahon. With nowhere to work after WCW went out of business, Jarrett and his father started TNA, the number two wrestling company in the U.S. since 2002. While TNA has never presented real competition for WWE, it's stopped McMahon from having a complete stranglehold on the business in America, and has given him even more reason to hate Jeff Jarrett.
