10 Former WWE World Champions Who Never Faced Brock Lesnar

At the beginning of 2016, it seemed as though Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar were destined to do battle on the grandest stage of them all. Wyatt and his henchmen ended Lesnar’s quest for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble, and the wrestling world braced itself for two months of promo battles between Wyatt and Paul Heyman.

Injury put paid to that plan, and Lesnar transitioned to a disappointing brawl with Dean Ambrose whilst Bray seconded Erick Rowan to an iconic six-second loss to The Rock at WrestleMania 32. Wyatt and Lesnar were booked against each other at Roadblock prior to the 'Show of Shows', but Wyatt's injury saw that bout changed to a two-on-one handicap match.

Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt are still yet to face each other in singles competition. The 'Eater of Worlds' has seen his stock fall dramatically in 2017, and a competitive bout between the two has never seemed further away. Wyatt is still young enough for that to change, so here's hoping.

House of Horrors II, anyone?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
