10 Former WWE Superstars Who Need To Return To NXT
9. Paul London
Perhaps Paul London could join his longtime tag team partner Brian Kendrick in NXT? London and Kendrick carried the tag team division on Smackdown for almost a year between 06-07. They could have some great matches with NXT tag teams like new Tag Team Champions Blake and Murphy and Kalisto and Sin Cara. The tandem have worked wonders with inexperienced workers before. The pair had a remarkably good match against K.C. James and Idol Stevens (alias Damien Mizdow) at No Mercy 2006. The pair were fresh out of OVW and not ready for the main roster but London and Kendrick managed to get a very exciting match out of them. They did the same with Deuce and Domino in early 2007 and many more teams along the way. London and Kendrick have continued to team on the indie circuit and their act is as sharp as ever. In singles London would have dream matches against Neville and Balor waiting for him. He had good matches against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in PWG and could pick those feuds back up, too. But would London work for NXT, should it be offered to him? Probably not. London has been very outspoken against the company since his release in 2009. He has been especially critical of Vince McMahon and current NXT foreman Triple H. Have London's feelings dulled a little since his shoot interview appearances? If they have, he would be a great addition to the NXT roster.
