10 Former WWE Superstars Who Need To Return To NXT

7. Mickie James

NXT's Diva's division is one of the highlights of the promotion. Whilst on Raw and Smackdown the women are, on occasion, treated with indifference or outright contempt, on NXT the women wrestlers are afforded the opportunity to have long, competitive matches before enthusiastic crowds. Many were calling the four way NXT Divas Championship match from Rival the match of the night and with good reason: it was an incredible effort by all involved and an engrossing and entertaining contest to boot. Many are calling for Charlotte and Sasha Banks to be called up to the main roster (whilst others are praying that they aren't for fear that it will 'ruin' them). Perhaps WWE could bring in some past divas to clash with the new generation? Mickie James, who was released by the WWE in 2010, has been mainly wrestling for TNA since. She did, however, drop by the WWE Performance Centre in November 2013 and worked out with the likes of Paige and Bayley. WWE.com even ran an article on it. WWE invited James to work with the girls and James, by all accounts, enjoyed the experience. Although she has recently given birth to a son and made an (apparent) one-off appearance for TNA on their UK tour, should she be asked to make an NXT appearance, she would surely jump at the chance.
