10 Former WWE Superstars Who Need To Return To NXT

6. Lance Storm

Lance Storm is another technically-sound, well-traveled veteran who could be given a role on NXT. Storm had his last WWE match at the first ECW One Night Stand PPV in 2005, beating longtime friend/rival Chris Jericho in the opener. Since then Storm has mainly concentrated on running his highly-successful Storm Wrestling Academy. Lance's school is one of the most respected wrestling schools in the world and everyone from Stone Cold Steve Austin to Edge to Paul Heyman has endorsed in in the past. Many SWA graduates have went on to ink WWE developmental contracts. As well as running his school, Storm also does select independent dates too. He has worked high-profile matches for Ring of Honor in the last few years, proving he can hang with the younger guys at the age of 45. More importantly, Storm teaches his RoH opponents how to slow down and use better psychology during their matches. Storm is a born teacher and can still go in the ring, when the occasion calls for it. He has kept himself in phenomenal shape and, perhaps most importantly of all, he is a fan of the NXT product. He can often be found tweeting about their shows and singing the praises of NXT talent. A WWE comeback is off the cards for Storm but his guidance and tutoring could be used during a brief NXT run.
