7. Jazzy Gabert

The likes of Mia Yim, Toni Storm, and Mercedes Martinez are all set to return for the 2018 Mae Young Classic, but 2017 standout Jazzy Gabert won't be joining them. 'The Alpha Female' confirmed it on Twitter earlier this week, and for now, it looks like she has fallen off WWE's radar.

Though the German's tournament run wasn't deep, she made a major impression as a strong, imposing bruiser in her first-round clash with Abbey Laith, and there's a chance she'd have likely inked a full-time deal if not for a serious injury suffered shortly after the competition. She has since recovered, however, and should be free to make a move.

Impact's Knockouts division is currently short of numbers. The Tessa Blanchards, Allies, and Su Yungs of the world can't carry it alone. They need extra bodies, and with Awesome Kong long gone and Sienna recently released, the monster heel void is gaping. On the strength of her Mae Young Classic and independent showings, Gabert would be the ideal choice to fill it. She'd bring something different to a division full of unique personalities.
