10 Fresh Feuds WWE MUST Book After The 2020 Draft
8. Jeff Hardy Vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt
The Fiend desperately needs to be kept out of the world title scene. No more never ending feuds with Braun Strowman or dropping championships in ways that undermine his aura, he should be booked as a star without a belt around his waist. Since he’s now on Raw and needs a babyface opponent to go against, who better than Jeff Hardy?
Hardy is maybe the only person as gloriously weird as Wyatt in the company, a wacky creative mastermind who has insanely extravagant face paint, an impulse to jump off of anything that you give him to climb and notoriously insane promos. There are no limits he won’t go to in an angle or in a match, and he has one of the most extensive character histories in modern WWE which makes him perfect for The Fiend.
Their feud on a subtextual level could explore the dissonance between Jeff as a singles wrestler and as a Hardy Boy, while in the ring, be the craziest match you can imagine WWE putting on. There are so many possibilities for what this feud could look like, and hopefully we’ll get to see at least one soon.
