10 Fun Facts About My Trip To WWE WrestleMania 23

6. Women Are Terrified Of Midgets Being Abused (Apparently)

When I walked into Ford Field, I was in awe of the stadium. Up until that point, it was by far the biggest building I€™d ever seen a wrestling show in. After Aretha Franklin belted out the national anthem, we had the Money In The Bank ladder match. The bout was really exciting with lots of stars and plenty of big moves, excitement and drama. Finlay was one of the match€™s participants and as we were glued to the ring, all of a sudden Hornswoggle got in the ring and tried to climb the ladder. The woman sitting in front of us lost her mind. As it became clear, Mr Kennedy was about to slam Hornswoggle from the ladder down to the ground, causing said lady to start screaming €œYOU CAN€™T DO THAT TO A LITTLE PERSON! BOOOOOOO!". I immediately started laughing because, ya know, it€™s ridiculous, and she just continued to rant about it. She told the man she was with that if he thought this was funny then it was time for them to leave. He looked mortified that his date for the night turned out to be what I'm presuming is either a psycho or a member of the PTC. She heard us laughing and turned around to shoot us an ice cold stare before telling us €œLiitle Person Abuse isn€™t funny!€. Maybe it is, maybe it ain't, but her reaction to said 'littler person abuse' certainly was.
