The build up to the main matches at WrestleMania 29 were thoroughly effective. Triple H and Brock Lesnar were heading towards an intense brawl, Rock and Cena was the rematch that had the WWE Title on the line and CM Punk had made it personal with The Undertaker by bringing the late Paul Bearer into the storyline. For me, Undertaker and CM Punk was the only main event that delivered on the night. I look back at WrestleMania 29 as one of my least favourite shows I ever attended. The Shield were wasted against three stale babyfaces, Team Hell No won a glorified RAW match, Triple H and Brock Lesnar's match was a snoozer and The Rock and John Cena rematch felt flat in person. Luckily, The Undertaker was there to once again make my WrestleMania trip worthwhile. Throughout the course of the match, he made Punk look like a million bucks. They even had me believing Punk could end The Streak at several points throughout the bout. In what would turn out to be CM Punk's last WrestleMania, these two pros totally stole the show. In hindsight, they probably should have gone on last. They were the main event of this show and nothing else on the four hour card could hold a candle to them.
