10 Fun Facts From My Trip To WWE WrestleMania 30

10. New Orleans Is The Best 'Mania City EVER!

After being to over ten WrestleManias I can say that New Orleans is without a doubt the best city they've ever held the event in.

Most of the time, wrestling fans converge on the destination and there are pockets of fans in every area of the city. The cool thing about New Orleans was that every night thousands of people from fans to wrestlers would congregate on Bourbon Street for food, drinks and to soak in the party vibe.

One night, my friends and I went to get a steak in a restaurant on Bourbon Street and one of the servers asked us if we were in town for 'the wrestling thing'. We rolled our eyes and confirmed that we were when she told us that just an hour before John Cena and Nikki Bella had been sitting at the table next to us tucking into some pork chops.

A few nights later, we randomly strolled past Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder on a night out. They were happy to interact with the fans and have a good time, which was nice to see.

A group of men in their thirties were dressed up as Demolition (complete with chaps) and The Twin Towers. They had put A LOT of time into their costume and couldn't walk past a bar without fans grabbing them for a picture. Everyone was in New Orleans to have a good time and having one street as the party area just made it even better.
