10 Funniest Botches In WWE Royal Rumble History
Remember when Vince McMahon managed to tear of his both quads in one night?
The Royal Rumble is WWE's second biggest event of the year, behind only WrestleMania. Considering the importance WWE places on the event and the Rumble match itself, you can bet that WWE doesn't take any chances when it comes to booking and executing the Rumble. Indeed, the Royal Rumble is one of the most micromanaged matches of the year. Everyone is given their times and their cues, they're told who is eliminating who, when they are eliminating/being eliminated and how. They are expected to follow orders to the letter. You didn't think it happened by accident, did you? The Rumble match is usually supported by a few big matches on the undercard. In 2014 the supporting card included Brock Lesnar taking on The Big Show, Daniel Bryan against Bray Wyatt and John Cena versus Randy Orton. When Cena, Orton, Bryan and Lesnar are not even the main focus of the show, you know the Rumble is a big deal. But, wrestling being wrestling, accidents inevitably occur. As much as WWE would like the Rumble to be the perfect start of the road to WrestleMania, the nature of the business dictates that there are bound to be one or two hiccups on the night. Some, like the ones on this list, are not so much destructive as they are really funny.
