10 Future AEW World Champions
3. MJF
Maxwell Jacob Friedman is 24 years old. This isn't a secret, everyone is fully aware of MF's youth, but it is a fact that still gets overlooked when evaluating the man's talent. When Steve Austin was 24, he was making his WCCW debut against Frogman LeBlanc. The Rock had just arrived on WWE TV, awkward and bumbling as the most vanilla babyface of an era full of them. 24-year-old Chris Jericho was a Smoky Mountain Wrestling name, while Bret Hart was still in Calgary at that age.
At the age of 24, MJF is one of the biggest heels in all of professional wrestling. Granted, he has arrived at a time when the art of portraying a genuine heel has never been more difficult, but the fact that a 24-year-old rookie has mastered what countless others have failed to do is an achievement in itself. You don't need to be an expert to see that MJF is going to be the defining bad guy of this generation and the next.
There is plenty of time for him to continue fleshing out as he heads towards an inevitable run as AEW World Champion. MJF will almost certainly have numerous title reigns before all is said and done, feuding with the babyfaces of tomorrow and becoming a generational star in the process.
