10 Future WWE Champions Currently On NXT
5. Tyler Bate
Like fellow Brit Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate shot to fame early in 2017 as one of the breakout stars of WWE's UK Championship Tournament, but has found opportunities since this time difficult to come by.
Despite that, it's hard to shake the conviction that someone who wears title gold as a teenager is simply destined to become a top tier wrestling star (and yes, René Duprée did the same a decade earlier - that doesn't really count).
Admittedly there are huge strides Bate needs to make as far as his mic skills go before he's anywhere ready to be a big player on NXT, let alone get the opportunity to perform on Raw or SmackDown.
But, once again, it really can't be stressed enough how young this guy is. He's got so much time to hone in his craft. Triple H and co can, if they so choose, mould him into their perfect franchise player over the course of the next decade.
