10 Genuinely Impressive Real Life Acts By Professional Wrestlers

2. Perry Saturn Gets Shot Saving A Potential Rape Victim

Perry Saturn looks tough. There are simply no two ways about it. With tattoos all over his body and a ripped physique Saturn very much played the part during his wrestling career as well, as unfortunate WWE jobber Mike Bell found out during a particular vicious encounter. This toughness extends outside of the ring as well. Saturn was a soldier from the age of 17 and served for four years as an Army Airborne Ranger before eventually becoming a professional wrestler. However the act that earns him a place on this list is when he saved a woman from being raped in 2004, getting shot in the neck and the shoulder in the process. Saturn managed to fight off the attackers and the woman escaped unharmed. According to a later shoot interview Saturn was unaware he had even been shot until informed by the police at the scene. Unfortunately Saturn€™s heroism didn€™t reap the karmic rewards that it should have and he ended up homeless and addicted to methamphetamine following the incident. Happily he has since cleaned himself up and is now back wrestling on the independent circuit again.
