10 Gifts WWE Should Give Their Superstars This Christmas
7. Seth Rollins - The Guarantee Of A Future Title Reign
The repercussions of Seth Rollins' injury look as thought they're going to be felt for many months, to WrestleMania 32 and beyond. No long-awaited showdown with Roman, no potential Shield triple-threat and no rumoured face-turn and feud with Triple H. The former WWE Champion didn't enjoy the most successful of title reigns from a booking perspective, but his in-ring performances were absolutely enthralling. The company would do well to repay Seth by guaranteeing him a lengthy second reign at some point (providing his return from injury all goes to plan). This may seem a fairly obvious idea - of course they're going to give Rollins another title reign, because he's awesome, remember? However, it's sadly not that simple. WWE's main event scene may appear thin on the ground, but it'll actually be rather cluttered by the time Seth makes his return (in around 6-9 months). Current champion Sheamus could well be sticking around at the top of the card, while Reigns and Ambrose will almost certainly be there too. Add current absentees John Cena and Brock Lesnar into the mix, and factor in the potential rise of upper-midcard stars such as Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt, and suddenly Rollins' chances of quickly snatching his gold back seem a lot more slim. Hopefully WWE won't forget how fantastic a wrestler Seth proved himself to be during his first reign, and shoot him straight back into title contention upon his return.
