10 Gimmick Ideas WWE Were Right To Turn Down

The defining characteristic of Alexa Bliss 2K20 is that she really enjoys coffee. Somehow, things could've been worse for the Starbucks-supping Women's Tag-Team Champ had WWE liked her proposed "southern" gimmick in NXT. Back then, Alexa very nearly turned into a modern retelling of Nidia hanging off Jamie Noble.

That's Jamie Noble boy to you.

There are some pics and footage of Bliss teaming up with future Revival man Scott Dawson as a pair of no good hillbilly trucker types who were like extras from yet another 'Dukes Of Hazzard' remake. Ultimately, the company decided against turning Alexa into their very own Jessica Simpson and went a different route instead.

It'd take a few years before Bliss really found her calling in WWE as a tiny Harley Quinn cosplaying mega-bitch. Then, eventually, she became less of a cow and found friendship with former psychopath Nikki Cross. Wrestling is weird.
