10 Gimmicks WWE Should Bring Back For The PG Era

1. The Boogeyman

Marty Wright's alter-ego has had remarkable staying power, considering the man himself never really figured out how to wrestle and that while he was in WWE he was not trusted with the responsibility of driving from one town to another (because he had failed to show up in the correct state a couple of times). Wright was cut from the $1,000,000 Tough Enough in 2004 after he lied about his age, but WWE signed him up anyway. They must have been thrilled that he did when he showed a penchant for eating worms and smashing clocks over his head. The Boogeyman terrorised WWE audiences between 2005-2009. Of course a character as memorable as The Boogeyman wasn't going to just disappear, and he has made sporadic appearances (including at the 2015 Royal Rumble). Every time he comes back, he gets a reaction. So why not bring him back for a more substantial role on television? The gimmick is over and, with three hours of time to fill during Raw, the company could do worse than giving a few minutes to Boogey for his freakshow act.
