10 Goldberg WWE Matches You Completely Forgot About

Goldberg's first singles championship win in WCW came via defeating Raven for the United States Championship in a match that has gone down in history as one of the most entertaining squashes in pro wrestling memory. It was one-sided throughout, but the match managed to make Raven look like a killer whilst simultaneously making Raven look like a valiant fighter caught in a whirlwind.

The first member of Raven's flock suffered a similar fate on RAW in July of 2003, as Stevie Richards found himself obliterated by Goldberg in less than two minutes ahead of SummerSlam 2003. All Stevie could muster was a couple of chops that had absolutely no effect, but he didn't look like an idiot coming out of this. Stevie merely looked like an honest pro wrestler that found himself in front of a runaway train.

If the Mark Henry match was everything a Goldberg bout shouldn't be, this squash win over Stevie Richards was everything such bouts should be. It was quick, it was decisive, it was intense and it was violent. It was great.
