10 Great Moments In Average WWE Careers

6. Linda’s WrestleMania Revenge

A former President of WWE, a Republican party Senate nominee and now the Administrator of Small Business Administration in Donald Trump’s cabinet, there is nothing average about the life of Linda McMahon. Not to mention that she has spent 52 years of her life married to a billionaire who is every bit as batsh*t crazy as Trump is.

However, Linda’s onscreen character was much duller, by McMahon standards at least. Her sporadic appearances were usually as a straight-faced board member and did not deliver anywhere near as much drama as those of Vince, Stephanie or Shane. Her one moment to shine came at WrestleMania X-Seven, when she rose from her comatose-like state to kick her husband in the crotch and set up victory for her son.

It’s at this point in the tale when it gets difficult to explain to that one friend why wrestling isn’t stupid. But it was a great moment.

Vince had been engaged in a steamy storyline affair with Trish Stratus, and his comeuppance at the hands of Linda was greeted with universal gratification, by both the resentful female fans, and the jealous males.
