10 Great Retired UFC Champions Not In The Hall Of Fame

6. Brock Lesnar

Silenced all his critics when he won the UFC Heavyweight belt in November of 2008 at UFC 91 when he TKO'd Hall of Fame legend and first ever UFC two division champion Randy Couture. After missing some time due to injuries, Lesnar twice returned to successfully defend his belt in title unification matches versus then Interim and former Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir at UFC 100, and a 12-0 beast in his own right, Interim Champ Shane Carwin at UFC 116.

Lesnar would later relinquish the belt against Cain Velasquez at UFC 121, and lose again to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141. He was last seen in the Octagon at UFC 200 in July of 2016 where a victory over Mark Hunt was later overturned to a No Contest due to a failed drug test.

While Brock’s time in the UFC was short and accumulating just a 4-3-1 record, he certainly made the most of his wins as he strung them all together in a row, always in dramatic fashion, and with a surprising versatility for an MMA new comer; with wins by Decision, TKOs and Submission in his brief but unforgettable UFC career.
