10 Great Wrestlers (With Terrible WrestleMania Records)

8. Kurt Angle (4-6)

Kurt Angle's first ever WrestleMania bout saw him lose twice in the same match, and that pretty much set the stage for the rest of his tenure on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Kurt Angle's matches at the Super Bowl of Sports Entertainment were mainly about making other people look good. From dropping the European and Intercontinental titles at WrestleMania 2000 to his final farewell against Baron Corbin, Kurt Angle used his prodigious talents to elevate those he shared the ring with.

His match at WrestleMania XIX against Brock Lesnar is a stone cold classic (even with Lesnar's wince-inducing attempt to compress his own spine), and Eddie Guerrero's victory over Angle the following year provided the unforgettable sight of the Latino legend celebrating at the PPV's conclusion ALL BY HIMSELF with NO-ONE ELSE BESIDE HIM. AT ALL. [sentence approved by WWE legal department].

However, Kurt Angle did get some memorable 'Mania wins under his belt before Baron Corbin Deep Sixed his career (can we all pretend that Corbin beat Angle with the Deep Six so that joke actually works? Thank you). And the best of those wins came over the next entrant on the list...
