10 Great Wrestlers WWE Must Sign For The Cruiserweight Revival

9. Mark Andrews

A high-flying Welshman who’s made his name dazzling audiences on both sides of the Atlantic, Mark Andrews’ signing potential is only hindered by his loose commitments to TNA.

Nonetheless, Andrews is one of the most underrated wrestlers on the planet today, Cruiserweight or otherwise. He’s just at home going toe-to-toe with his fellow speedsters as he is playing a small, sympathetic foil to larger opponents, and his pint-sized 5’8”, 145lbs frame makes him a natural underdog.

While his increasingly fleeting TNA appearances are mostly comedic, Andrews has proved through his work in PWG and PROGRESS that he can wrestle a great match against anyone. He might not be as well-recognised as a Will Ospreay or Ricochet, but he’s a real spectacle performer, a tremendous athlete, and an inventive high-flier, and at the age of 24, he has all the time in the world to make it to bigger stages.

Andrews is exactly the kind of wrestler that comes to mind when most people think about Cruiserweight wrestling. He knows exactly what to do to get a crowd on their feet and cheering, and he’d bring an immediate dose of excitement to WWE’s Cruiserweight division.
