6. Edge vs Christian

Nobody fights like brothers - or, in this case, pretend brothers.

The breakup of Edge and Christian in 2001 was one of the better parts of the Invasion storyline. Edge's victory in King of the Ring drove a wedge between the fake siblings, causing Christian to snap and defeat his best pal for the Intercontinental Championship at Unforgiven.

The belt would play a big part in their rivalry, resulting in an amazing ladder match at No Mercy. Aside from a pair of random TV matches in 2002 and 2010, these legendary Canadians wouldn't go one-on-one again for over 20 years, when they had both signed for AEW.

Edge - now going by his real name of Adam Copeland - gave Christian Cage quite the shock when he turned up at the end of WrestleDream 2023, making it clear that he wanted to get his hands on the TNT Championship.

Copeland won the belt at Worlds End, only to lose it back to Cage moments later, before securing the prize for good on a March 2024 edition of Dynamite. Then he jumped off a cage and broke his leg, but that had nothing to do with Christian.

Or did it...
