Right now, many savvy wrestling fans – or is that what we refer to as smarks? – are getting all kinds of excited about the return to in-ring action of Bray Wyatt. With his new Firefly Fun House schtick and the ominous Fiend now in his arsenal, Bray is surely a can’t-miss talent who is destined to be inserted into the main event picture instantly. That’s the thought of many. But, for those many, it’s time to have a brief history lesson.

Since debuting on the main WWE roster, Bray Wyatt has this strange habit of having so many fantastic feuds and rivalries that ultimately end in drab, bland matches – which usually end with Wyatt staring at the lights as his opponent gets the spoils.

Bray is an enigma of sorts, in that he talks such a great game, the majority of his rivalries are cleverly thought out, crowds always go nuts for his entrance, and yet the end result is usually some awful payoff for the one-time Husky Harris.

Whether it was against The Shield, John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Finn Bálor or countless others, Bray’s feuds have this horrible pattern of ending in an awful payoff that’s either a losing effort for Wyatt or simply a dud match.
