While The Undertaker has embarked on legendary WrestleMania battles with Shawn Michaels, Triple H, CM Punk, and, err, Giant González, one of best built matches of The Phenom’s famed WrestleMania streak was his WrestleMania XXX match against Brock Lesnar.

In the build, Paul Heyman was at his Paul Heyman best as he talked us into wanting to see his Beast facing off against The Deadman. Sure, ‘Taker had somehow managed to best all other ‘Mania opponents, but how could he be expected to put a stop to the sheer aggression and brutality of the former UFC Heavyweight Champion? Famously, of course, that question was answered by Lesnar hitting multiple F-5s and pinning The Undertaker in the middle of the ring.

Some may take umbrage with Lesnar being the one to end the streak – or even the streak being ended at all – but it was the way that it ended which really fell flat. The match was awful, The Undertaker was knocked loopy moments into the bout, and the two real-life buddies just didn’t click in the slightest. The Undertaker’s streak had ended with a whimper.

Skip forward to the following year’s Battleground event, and we saw Undertaker return to kick Lesnar in the d*ck. Literally.
