10 Great WWE Characters That Have Grown Stale

4. Undisputed Era

Change is clearly on the horizon for The Undisputed Era, and that change is coming at the right time. The quartet have long been one of the most entertaining and consistent groups on WWE TV, but they have done all they can do as a heel faction. Turning the whole group babyface makes little sense too. These four men have been absolute tools to anyone and everyone since forming in 2018.

The time has come to break the group up, but that could mean very different things for the four men involved. Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly seem to be heading to the babyface side of the ledger and recent spotlights suggest they will do more than fine, but the same can't be said for Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish. Strong and Fish have seen their roles reduced in recent times, and it is difficult to see that changing anytime soon.

Whatever happens, it is time for the four men to do something different. By splitting the group up, NXT gets four new stars and four new directions, four options and plenty of ammo for interesting stories further down the line. The Undispited Era needs to end.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
