10 Great WWE Feuds That Never Got A PPV Match

9. Legion Of Doom vs. Demolition

It's an absolute disgrace that this never happened properly.

When The Road Warriors joined the WWF in mid-1990, fans of face-painted tag-teams everywhere jumped for joy at the mere thought of a showdown with Demolition. At first, it looked like that was the plan. The renamed Legion Of Doom teamed with The Ultimate Warrior against all three members of Demo.

Spotted the problem yet? Warrior's alliance with LOD cluttered up the feud, and people wanted Ax and Smash (not Smash and Crush) against Hawk and Animal. They'd never get to see that natural rivalry play out on pay-per-view though. After more interaction between both teams at Survivor Series, Demolition's importance dwindled.

LOD moved on to challenge for the Tag-Team Titles and their issues with Demolition were consigned to federation history just like that. Some TV and house show matches weren't nearly enough for fans who'd waited years to see these duos collide.
