8. John Cena vs. Christian

Your writer will take on anybody who disagrees that WWE dropped the ball with Christian in 2005.

He might not have been the most conventional headliner, but 'Captain Charisma' was a fine heel who could also work with anybody. Christian defo should've got a one-on-one crack at John Cena in '05 - instead, his title hunt was diluted by the inclusion of Chris Jericho and the trio had a Triple Threat at Vengeance.

Then, Jericho vs. Cena was set for SummerSlam and poor Christian was ousted from the title mix before frustration took over and he bolted to TNA. Before that, he was drafted to SmackDown and put Booker T over at Great American Bash. So much for that feud with Cena.

Their rivalry should've been hot sh*t over on Raw. Christian could play the dorky heel foil for Cena's rebellious rapper babyface gimmick nicely, but WWE obviously didn't view him as a credible enough challenger. Their loss was very much TNA's gain.
