The reason Batista would have been a good match for Lesnar is that he can equal his size and ferocity. Another mid 2000's act who could have offered that role was Umaga. The Samoan Bulldozer was a really good in-ring worker and had fantastic monster heel presence. In a big match against Lesnar, it would have been a stunning spectacle. Just imagine Brock throwing Umaga over his head in a suplex. The feud should have been done with Lesnar as face and Umaga as the savage heel, constantly getting the better of Brock on tv up until the inevitable Lesnar pay per view win. It would have been a great main event for one of the B show pay per views. If Lesnar had been in WWE around 2006-2008, he almost certainly would've came up against Umaga. Sadly, there's now no chance of this, as Umaga died of a heart attack in 2009. He was 36 years old.
