There are rumours that WWE will book The Rock vs. Triple H one more time at WrestleMania 32. It's true that the match has been worked many times, but fans haven't witnessed it for a long time. In fact, there's an entire generation of young viewers who haven't seen it happen. If it does happen, Rock vs. Triple H has some mighty encounters to live up to. As far back as 1997, both men were honing their chemistry together. In truth, Rocky Maivia vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley at In Your House 13: Final Four was nothing to write home about. Thankfully, that situation would be rectified in later years. During those early matches however, it's important to note that Maivia and Hunter did look compatible. SummerSlam 1998 would be the moment they clicked. Contesting a great Ladder Match over the Intercontinental Title, The Rock and Triple H would go on to have a gripping series of matches over the WWF Heavyweight Title in the year 2000. At Backlash and Judgment Day 2000 specifically, they were on top form. The latter Pay-Per-View included an Iron Man Match which - despite being 60 minutes in length - simply did not drag. That was down to the coordination between the performers.
